Technology Leaders Dan Yates and Patrick Kerins Join TrackMaven’s Board of Directors

Washington, D.C., April 12, 2017 – TrackMaven, the world’s most complete marketing analytics and reporting solution, today announced that Dan Yates, CEO and co-founder of Opower, and Patrick Kerins, partner at New Enterprise Associates (NEA), have been named to its board of directors. Additionally, TrackMaven named Kristin Muhlner, a recognized enterprise software leader and former executive vice president of revenue for Sprinklr, to its board of advisors.

Yates, Kerins, and Muhlner bring a wealth of technology and software-as-a-service (SaaS) expertise to TrackMaven. Dan Yates has led Opower since its founding in 2007, and is responsible for the company’s vision and strategy. Under his leadership, Opower became one of the fastest-growing enterprise SaaS companies in the world, underwent a successful initial public offering (NASDAQ: OPWR), and was acquired by Oracle for $621 million in May 2016.

“As a fellow SaaS CEO in the D.C.-metro area, I have admired Allen and followed TrackMaven’s success for years,“ said Yates. “I’m honored to join the board, and I’m incredibly excited to support TrackMaven’s mission to give marketers the actionable analytics they need to be successful.”

Patrick Kerins joined NEA in 2006 as general partner focusing on technology investments, particularly enterprise software, SaaS, mobile technology, and internet companies. He serves on the board of directors for BedRocket Media, BuzzFeed, GumGum, Spring Mobile Solutions, TravelBank, and Videology. Prior to joining NEA, Patrick invested in high-tech companies as general partner of Grotech Capital Group, and spent nearly 10 years at Alex Brown & Sons, where he was responsible for a range of advisory projects including initial public offerings and mergers and acquisitions for high-tech companies.

“As someone who is incredibly passionate about innovation, technology, and digital media, I’m thrilled to join the board of a company that is a driving force in the marketing technology industry,” said Kerins. “I’m looking forward to the opportunity to support the next wave of innovation from TrackMaven to help marketers improve their return on investment.”

Yates and Kerins join current TrackMaven board members Joe Payne, former chairman and CEO of Eloqua (acquired by Oracle); Sean Glass, chairman and CEO of Advantia Health and managing partner of Acceleprise VC; Chuck Ghoorah, co-founder and president of worldwide sales and marketing of Cvent (NYSE: CVT); and Allen Gannett, founder and CEO of TrackMaven.

Kristin Muhlner brings over 20 years of expertise in leading and advising high-growth technology organizations to TrackMaven’s board of advisors. Muhlner formerly served as the CEO of New Brand, a customer experience management solution which was acquired by Sprinklr in 2015. She joins Matt Heinz, president of Heinz Marketing; Leah Belsky, vice president at Coursera; and many more on TrackMaven’s advisory board.

“We are thrilled to welcome Dan, Patrick, and Kristin to our leadership team,” said Allen Gannett, founder and CEO of TrackMaven. “They have extraordinary track records in scaling and advising successful SaaS companies. Their unique mix of experience will be an incredible asset as we continue to build and expand our business.”

TrackMaven’s new capabilities connect marketing campaigns to business results

TrackMaven recently released new capabilities to measure the return on investment (ROI) of social media, content marketing, and campaigns. In November 2016, TrackMaven launched Social and Content Attribution, which allows marketing teams to measure every social media post and blog post in terms of business value.

With this capability, TrackMaven’s customers are able to improve their strategies in real time based on website traffic, conversions, e-commerce, and revenue results.

In May 2016, TrackMaven acquired 10Stories, a San Francisco-based technology company that gives marketers the ability to prove how their campaigns generate pipeline, revenue, and deals. TrackMaven continues to expand its marketing attribution capabilities, and now counts Google Analytics, Marketo, Salesforce, and 16 other social and digital channels among its integrations.
